The very moment I was sitting in the doctors room and got my results that said BRCA+, it was like a switch went off in my head and I knew that I was not going to wait around for cancer to get to me and I wanted to take control and make sure I was able to take my chances of getting Breast Cancer from 87% to 5%, by having a preventative double mastectomy!
