Our 1st Newsletter of the year!

We are sending all our love and support to everyone during lockdown and the COVID-19 outbreak, and we salute all the essential workers keeping us safe, healthy and looked after during these times. Here is a look at how we've spread awareness and support for breast cancer so far this year.

Pamper Packs Reach Extended

Since October/breast Cancer month last year we have been handing out more of our pamper packs to individuals across South Africa including Pretoria and East London. Our network of hospitals has extended to Frere Hospital in East London, achieving one of our long standing goals to reach even more young women outside of the Western Cape. Thank you to Joy Scholl and Sr Zake for accepting our presence at their hospital, and to @BRCA.lady Megan and the team at Freight Innovations for facilitating the shipment of the pamper packs to them.

We have also continued to send bags to individuals who are brought to our attention by those in and out side of our foundation. And to our hospitals and Oncology centres in and around Cape Town, where we have built great relationships with Social workers and staff to bring our bags and financial assistance to those in need.
Funding & Pamper Bags:

Since Early October last year we have paid a total of R7 212.80 towards medical expenses and R3 000 towards wigs of breast cancer patients

And handed out 37 pamper packs

#ShopLocal Pamper Packs & New Sponsors

On a path to shifting our focus to supporting local when sourcing our Pamper Packs, this year we have secured amazing new sponsorships and partnerships from local business across South Africa. Our new and improved Pamper Packs offer even more personalised and thoughtful products - with an aim at supporting natural, locally sourced, safe and hand picked products to support the specific needs of young women diagnosed with breast cancer.

We have also included in the packs a description of some of the specialised items to ensure the women are well informed on what they are using and how it can be applied. The information included in this list you can find at the bottom of this News Letter.

A special thank you goes out to our new sponsors, with out your support we would not have been able to supply these young women with the amazing products we have now.

New Sponsors:

Juliette at Oribi Organics
Johan Ferreira at The Red T company
Megan Burger at BReast Cancer Babes
Anne & Nikki at The Apothecary
Arno at Eli&you
Lucien at AngelFactory
Petra at Bee Natural
Monja at Planet Nails

A big thank you also goes out to Megan and Russel and their amazing team at Freight Innovations who have come on board as our official partners in distributing pamper packs.
